"All That Surrounds Us" is a collection of creative writings from fifteen members of NEW INC’s Y12 Social Architecture cohort. Each contribution responds to the conceptual prompt, “What is social architecture?” Our understanding of this framework asks “architecture” to mean more than the design and construction of the built environment; that is because the structures and infrastructures that shape our experience extend beyond the physical. Through critical and personal reflections and conversations, track members working with a range of social and spatial concerns consider Social Architecture as a lens for strengthening relationships across many forms of practice.
