Crude Oil is a 3D adventure game that combines puzzle-platformer mechanics with liquid physics simulation, in a handcrafted 3D world. Splat off the walls, bowl thru stacks of barrels, and skate across puddles as an elastic blob, with Mario-like moves subverted by formlessness. Slow time to pull a tricky maneuver, or just to savor your character’s outlandish acrobatics. Collect and launch oil droplets to grow into a formidable glob or shrink to a modest slick. Try on different hats for short-term power-ups. Drive a forklift. Evade robots. Uncover a twisted plot. Overcome your blobby limitations and escape the pipeline of production.
